BAKERY by Frothy Monkey is a full-service wholesale bakery in Nashville, proudly owned and operated by Frothy Monkey. We bake everything from scratch, offering a wide assortment of handcrafted goods—muffins, cookies, laminated doughs, scones, and more. We believe in quality, consistency, and creativity.

We’re currently seeking a Pastry Department Manager to lead our talented team. This full-time, salaried (exempt) position requires open availability, including Sundays and holidays. If you're an experienced, motivated, and organized professional with a passion for baking and leadership, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the Pastry Department
• Develop, execute, and maintain pastry menus for wholesale clients
• Create and uphold Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Manage labor goals and cost of goods sold (COGS)
• Hire, train, and schedule pastry team members
• Supervise production and ensure accurate order fulfillment
• Monitor and manage pastry inventory and supply needs
• Oversee equipment maintenance and cleanliness
• Ensure building cleanliness in collaboration with production support staff
• Participate in weekly Bakery Team meetings

Qualifications

• Prior kitchen management experience leading teams of 7+
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift/move items up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Solid understanding of food safety regulations and compliance
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Effective leadership skills with a focus on team development
