Frothy Monkey is hiring a Barista to join our Downtown Nashville location! If you're an optimistic and warm individual who excels in both team settings and independent work, we want you. Smiling abundantly and finding joy in making others happy is what we look for.

Full time position (>30 hours / week). Part time position (<30 hours / week). Hours vary weekly.

At Frothy Monkey, we serve more than just coffee. Our all day-menu includes breakfast, brunch, a kid’s menu, lunch, and dinner, accompanied by an enticing selection of craft beer, wine, and cocktails. Job responsibilities include:
  • Prepare and serve espresso drinks, coffee, tea, and other beverages.
  • Constant drive for professional education and growth in all areas of coffee and tea
  • Willingness to learn and to share coffee/tea knowledge with guests and co-workers
  • Willingness to help ring up guests, buss tables, run food/drinks and help with any other general tasks as needed
  • Ability to multitask in a high volume environment while maintaining a warm and friendly demeanor
  • Maintain clean and organized workspace throughout each shift
  • Maintain knowledge of all food and beverage products
  • Maintain warm and friendly demeanor when interacting with guests and co-workers
  • Ability to work with a team-first mentality throughout the entirety of each shift
  • Be able to grow, learn, and be creative.
  • Love their local community and help engender a spirit of inclusiveness within our walls.
Requirements: 
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time (up to 8+ hours per shift).
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds 
  • Ability to bend, reach, twist, kneel, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment

How many hours per week are you available to work? Full time employees must average more than 30 hours per week. In order to be benefits eligible, you must be a full time employee.*
What shifts are you available? Morning shifts may run from 6:30AM - 3PM and afternoon shifts may run from 10AM - 9PM. These hours cover a window of time that shifts might be scheduled within.
