About Frothy Monkey

At Frothy Monkey, we serve more than just coffee. Our all-day menu includes breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner and a kids menu, accompanied by an enticing selection of craft beer, wine, and cocktails. We take pride in creating delicious offerings from scratch, using original recipes and thoughtfully sourced ingredients from regional farmers and producers whenever possible. Since 2004, Frothy Monkey has been a beloved staple in the Nashville community, earning accolades such as "Best Coffee Shop" and more in numerous publications, thanks to the support of our wonderful customers.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Climbing stairs may be required. 
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively within a team environment
• Acquire and maintain proper regulatory serving permits.
• Lift up to 50 pounds safely. 

Job responsibilities:

• Create a welcoming environment that exemplifies our core values.
• Provide hospitality and genuine interactions to guests from all walks of life. 
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, punctuality, high standards, and team work. 
• Curating exceptional hospitality experiences for our guests.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of the menu, including food, coffee and cocktail offerings.
• Anticipate the needs of guests and our team.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization, including regularly scheduled cleaning and occasional deep cleaning. 
• Able to multitask while always making guests the first priority.
• Be familiar with the local farmers and purveyors we partner with and the relationships that connect our ingredients to our community.
• Take guest orders, operate POS systems, bus tables, run food/drinks, complete required side work and additional duties as assigned.
